This is the fourth installment in the Cormoran Strike series. There is three others before it; Cuckoo's Calling, The Silkworm, and Career of Evil. Lethal White is set in London where war veteran turned private detective, Cormoran Strike, solves murders with his assistant/friend, Robin.In this story, a troubled boy named Billy, comes into Strike's office for help investigating a crime he believes he witnessed as a child. Before Strike could ask any more questions, Billy bolts out of his office in a panic. Intrigued by the boys story, Strike and his partner set out on a twisted trail throughout the back streets of London, into a much more secretive underground sanctum.
Let's not forget that Strike is an interesting character himself. His personal life is another story in itself. His relationship with his partner Robin is another issue too in this nail biting series. All this mystery mixed together results in a page turning reading frenzy.
